Additional Course Information
Who Should Attend

Many types of working professionals find this course both hands-on and interesting:

• Majored in EE but need to brush up on their knowledge in this area before advancing to the upper level course—S3X: Semiconductor Devices.
• Wish to enter the semiconductor market and are looking to acquire essential knowledge and build a solid foundation in this area.

Prerequisite

You should possess a basic knowledge on science/chemistry/physics at the high school level, such as atoms, ions, electrons, charge, electric field, and potential.

You should possess a basic on math/calculus at the college freshman level, such as single-variable derivative and integration.

Course Length

The course length covers not only the audio runtime but also the time you need to catch up with the lecture presentation, including the time to re-listen the soundtrack (rewind and play), the time to watch the slides (pause), and the time to take notes. Other than the 14-hour course length, you are expected to spend additional 28 hours studying the lectures and digesting the materials.

Course Activation

You must activate the course within 15 days of your date of enrollment. After you activate the course, you have 120 days to complete the course. Within the 120-day access time, you can watch/listen the lecture presentations as many times as you want. Most students who have full-time jobs and who study part-time can finish this course within 60 days.
